Fellowship awards are provided by the HKSAR Government for selected local students admitted to this MSCS programme in the year of 2020-2021 under the Fellowships Scheme which provides tuition subsidy of up to HK$120,000 if approved. Local students admitted in any (full-time, part-time or combined) study mode will be invited to submit applications for the fellowships.

Local students (Hong Kong adult residents) may apply for Continuing Education Fund (CEF) for courses that are approved. Currently, the CEF approved courses are: CS5367, CS6175, and EC5001.
Applicable to CEF reimbursable courses commenced before 1 April 2019: Eligible applicants will be reimbursed 80% of the course fee, subject to a maximum sum of HK$10,000 on successful completion of the course.
Applicable to CEF reimbursable courses commenced on or after 1 April 2019: Eligible applicants will be reimbursed 80% of the course fee for the 1st HK$10,000; and 60% of the course fee for the 2nd HK$10,000, subject to a maximum sum of HK$20,000 on successful completion of the course.

Students with the best performance will be nominated by the Department of Computer Science for scholarship awards of up to $3,000.
The fees for the transferred credit units are waived.
Successful applicants are eligible to apply for the Government's Non-means-tested Loan Scheme. Application forms are obtainable from each District Office and the Student Finance Office of the Hong Kong Government.
